Description
The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, securing, and scaling the organization's internal IT infrastructure. This role will support day-to-day IT operations, ensure system reliability, and enable seamless onboarding, collaboration, and productivity across teams. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to maintain a robust and secure technology environment.
Essential Functions / Deliverables
Infrastructure Management – Maintain and optimize internal networks (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
User Support & Helpdesk – Provide Tier 1–3 technical support to employees, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient issue resolution.
Security & Compliance – Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures including firewalls, endpoint protection (EDR), MFA, and regular patching.
SaaS Administration – Manage internal tools and platforms such as Azure and Microsoft 365.
Onboarding & Offboarding – Handle employee lifecycle activities including laptop provisioning (Mac/Windows), account setup, and asset recovery.
Asset Management – Track hardware/software inventory and manage vendor relationships for procurement and licensing.
System Monitoring & Maintenance – Ensure uptime, performance monitoring, and proactive issue resolution across systems.
Compliance & Governance Adherence – Ensure IT practices align with internal policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.

Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Certifications (Preferred)
CompTIA Network+/Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CCNA, or equivalent
Required Professional Experience
3+ years of experience in IT Support or Systems Administration
Technical/Computer Skills
Operating Systems: Expertise in macOS and Windows 10/11 (Linux is a plus)
Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
MDM Tools: Experience with Intune, AirWatch, or similar tools
Cloud Platforms: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Tools & Applications: Microsoft 365, Azure administration, endpoint security tools
Automation (Preferred): Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Professional Competencies
Understanding of IT infrastructure management, system administration, and security best practices. Ability to manage end-to-end IT operations in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Work Exposure
Experience working in small-to-medium business (SMB) environments with end-to-end IT ownership
