Job Description

Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 3–8 years of experience in power distribution projects
• Experience in state utility / DISCOM projects preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision and execution of LT/HT power distribution works
• Planning and monitoring of 33kV / 11kV lines, substations, and distribution networks
• Inspection and quality control of electrical installations as per approved drawings
• Coordination with contractors, vendors, and utility authorities
• Preparation and review of BOQ, DPR, and technical reports
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and project specifications
• Site progress monitoring and reporting to project management
• Support in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) standards
• Understanding of IS codes, CEA regulations, and safety norms
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Preferred Skills

• Experience in government / PSU power projects
• Familiarity with GIS-based distribution systems (added advantage)
• Good communication and coordination skills
