Web Developer Internship

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Web developer Intern to join our engineering team. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced developers to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of web or mobile applications, APIs, and internal tools.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA.
• Research new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation and technical specifications.

Internship Process:

1. Pre-interview assignment 1

2. Work at Soft Mania office for 6 days

3. Technical & Managerial Interview

4. HR Interview

5. Unpaid internship

• Duration = 3 Months
• Stipend = No
• Mode = Work from Office

6. Paid internship

• Duration = 3 Months
• Stipend = Rs.5,000/month
• Mode = Work from Office

7. Converting to Full-time (Based on the internship performance, salary will be decided)

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Next.js and modern web development practices.
• Familiarity with React fundamentals and component-based architecture.
• Basic experience using AI-assisted development tools like V0.dev, Github Copilot, or similar.
• Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Exposure to styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Basic knowledge of API integration (REST or GraphQL).
• Interest in building clean, responsive, and user-friendly UIs.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
