QHSE Engineer - Materials

SolarSquare is seeking a Quality Engineer for Materials to oversee the quality planning, inspection, and assurance of PV module mounting structures. This role is vital for maintaining product integrity across incoming materials, manufacturing processes, and final assemblies. Key responsibilities include developing Quality Plans, conducting inspections on raw materials (aluminum, galvanized steel, fasteners), verifying dimensions and MTCs, inspecting fabrication and assembly processes, and maintaining documentation and reports. The candidate will coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and factory/site teams. Travel to supplier or project sites may be required, and working at factory/shop floor conditions is expected. Local accommodation near the factory is preferred.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and process-driven individual with strong ownership and accountability. They must have strong communication skills (English, Hindi), be a proactive problem solver, and be able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. A strong understanding of solar PV structures and quality inspection methods is required, along with familiarity with IS/ASTM/IEC standards for structural components and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and report preparation. Working knowledge of quality management software/tools is also beneficial.
