Supply chain Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Executive to support our procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor management processes. The role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a solid understanding of supply chain workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor follow-ups, and sourcing.
• Track and maintain inventory levels; ensure timely restocking and avoid overstock/shortages.
• Coordinate inward and outward logistics — shipments, deliveries, and dispatches.
• Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement, stock levels, invoices, and supplier data.
• Collaborate with warehouse and internal teams (R&D, Sales, Accounts) to meet demand.
• Assist in planning material requirements based on project timelines and consumption forecasts.
• Generate daily/weekly reports on inventory, vendor performance, and order status.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality checks.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and procurement.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic ERP or inventory software (Zoho/Tally/SAP).
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and regional languages.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Strong coordination with vendors, courier partners, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or related field.
• Experience: 0-3 years in a supply chain, warehouse, or logistics role.
• Bonus: Experience in the education, manufacturing, or aerospace domain is a plus.
