Stable Money is India's fixed-income app — FDs, bonds, credit cards - we're the "safe returns" alternative to equity-heavy fintechs. Content is a primary new-user engine, and video is at the heart of how we hook, teach, and convert our audience across YouTube, Instagram, and in-app.

The role

We're looking for a highly creative and technically skilled Video Editor to translate raw footage into compelling, platform-optimized videos. You'll work closely with the content and marketing teams to edit dynamic, story-driven content that hooks audiences, boosts engagement, and drives conversions across YouTube, Instagram, and in-app.

What you'll own

Platform-First Editing

• Conceptualize and edit both short-form (Reels, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube videos, tutorials) content tailored to specific audience behaviours and algorithm requirements

In-App & Dynamic Assets

• Produce engaging visual elements and micro-videos optimized for in-app user experiences, feature announcements, and product walkthroughs

Storytelling & Pacing

• Review raw footage, select the best takes, and assemble sequences with engaging rhythm, strong hooks, and logical progression

Post-Production Effects

• Enhance videos by seamlessly integrating background music, SFX, motion graphics, and subtitles/captions

Asset Organization

• Manage digital assets, maintain clean project files, and ensure consistent brand identity, colour grading, and audio levels across all outputs

Who you are

• Proven experience — a strong portfolio of 3+ years or demo reel showing your ability to edit for various digital formats, especially YouTube and mobile apps
• Software proficiency — mastery of industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Trend awareness — a deep understanding of current social media trends, viral content dynamics, and platform-specific formatting (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
• Time management — able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Good to have — Proficiency on generative AI tools

Position Overview We're seeking a technically skilled video editor who's pushing the boundaries of what's possible with generative AI tools. You'll be the production powerhouse that brings creative concepts to life, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to produce high-quality content at scale while maintaining our brand's unique visual identity.   Key Responsibilities * Execute video production from concept to final delivery, transforming scripts and creative briefs into polished, engaging content * Master and leverage Gen AI tools like Runway ML, Pika, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and emerging platforms to accelerate production workflows * Edit long-form videos with strong pacing, compelling storytelling, and retention-focused techniques that keep viewers engaged * Create viral short-form content optimized for various platforms, understanding the unique requirements and best practices for each * Design motion graphics, animated infographics, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and brand recognition * Collaborate closely with the Creative Writer/Director to ensure creative vision is realized while bringing your own technical and creative expertise to the table * Establish efficient production workflows and asset management systems that enable rapid content iteration and scaling * Stay at the forefront of AI video technology, continuously experimenting with new tools and techniques to enhance our creative capabilities * Maintain brand consistency across all video content while pushing creative boundaries * Optimize content for different platforms and formats, from vertical mobile videos to horizontal YouTube content   What We're Looking For * Strong portfolio showcasing diverse video editing work across formats, styles, and platforms2-4 years of professional video editing experience with proven expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools * Demonstrated experience with Gen AI video tools and platforms, with a portfolio showing AI-enhanced or AI-generated content * Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, pacing, color grading, and audio design * Motion graphics and animation skills, with experience in creating engaging infographics and explainer content * Technical proficiency with the latest codecs, formats, and platform-specific export requirements * Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high production quality * Creative problem solver who can find innovative solutions to production challenges * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering pixel-perfect work * Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with the creative team   Nice to Have * Familiarity with sound design and audio mixing * Basic understanding of color theory and cinematography * Experience with live streaming or real-time video production * Knowledge of prompt engineering for AI image/video generation tools   Why Join Us? * Be part of a high-impact content team where your work directly influences user growth and brand perception * Creative freedom to experiment with new formats, platforms, and storytelling techniques * Access to cutting-edge AI tools and technologies to push the boundaries of content creation * Work with a passionate, collaborative team that values both data and creativity * Opportunity to build and scale a content program from the ground up
