Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Design & Engineering Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting engineering designs, ensuring high-quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) to create detailed models and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and project teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation processes.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in design and engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
