Description

  • Calendar management, updating schedules and handling meeting requests judiciously, organizing agendas and keeping the meetings on track
  • Participate in meetings to take notes, or transcribe meeting notes, with follow-up action and coordination with internal teams
  • Facilitate travel, dining, hotel and other logistical arrangements for the CEO and guests
  • Handle requests for industry events, public functions and speaker engagements
  • Coordinate with internal teams for review meetings, brainstorming sessions and one-on-ones, along with following up on internal deliverables
  • Support in the preparation of administrative documentation, including reimbursements
  • Prepare background information and relevant notes before meetings
  • Support in building presentations and correspondence on behalf of the CEO

Requirements

  • An insatiable urge for learning, exposure and understanding
  • Quick thinking, street smart and persuasive, with excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Well-informed, sharp and willing to learn how a successful consultancy is run.
  • Detail oriented, thorough, organized and meticulous
  • Excellent people skills
  • Ability to understand the CEO's working style and willingness to work hard and put in long hours (especially during busy periods)
  • Digitally savvy. Exposed to social media and tech tools
  • Knowledge of travel arrangements such as airline ticketing, hotel bookings, visa procedures and documentation and restaurant recommendations
  • Ability to contribute thoughts and ideas to business discussions
  • Can-do, make-it-happen attitude, with an ability to multitask and remain focused
  • Exceptionally high ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exchanges always
  • A great sense of humor

Qualification and Experience:

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate in any field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in a dynamic and high-pressure environment. Prior experience with consulting firms will be a big positive
  • Empathetic professional with an entrepreneurial acumen
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, good email skills and an exposure to the G-suite (Gmail, Google Drive and Google Docs)
  • Willingness to travel
