About the role
We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products while contributing to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Build and enhance microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design and optimize data storage solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Support and collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Who Are You?
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), and Hibernate.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, design patterns, and data structures.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Exposure to Golang is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
