Academic Counsellor

Studwise International is looking for a passionate and result-oriented Academic Counselor to join our growing Study Abroad team. The ideal candidate will guide students through overseas education opportunities and play a key role in student conversion and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study abroad options (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.)
• Understand student profiles and recommend suitable courses, universities, and countries
• Handle inbound leads, follow up consistently, and convert inquiries into enrollments
• Explain admission procedures, eligibility, documentation, and visa processes clearly
• Coordinate with application, visa, and operations teams for smooth processing
• Maintain accurate student data and follow-ups in CRM
• Meet individual and team counseling & conversion targets
• Build trust-based relationships with students and parents

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education/Management preferred)
• Proven experience as an Academic Counselor / Study Abroad Counselor
• Freshers may be considered if they possess strong sales and communication skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle pressure and work towards targets
• Good counseling, negotiation, and follow-up skills
