Lead - State NCR & SQM

Group Company: Suzlon Energy Limited Designation: Lead - State NCR & SQM Office Location: Position description: Description Primary Responsibilities: Lead and manage state‑level NCR (Non‑Conformance Reporting) and Supplier Quality Management (SQM) activities to support OMS operations. Ensure systematic identification, logging, tracking, and closure of NCRs related to materials, spares, services, and site activities. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, warehouses, and site teams for root cause analysis and timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Monitor supplier quality performance and ensure adherence to OMS quality standards, specifications, and contractual requirements. Drive reduction of repeat NCRs through trend analysis, preventive actions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Support incoming material inspections, quality deviations handling, and rejection management across state locations. Ensure proper documentation, system updates, and MIS reporting of NCRs, CAPA, and supplier quality metrics. Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to quality, NCR closure, and supplier compliance. Work closely with material planning, engineering, and procurement teams to improve material quality and availability. Build quality awareness and capability across sites and suppliers to enhance OMS reliability, customer satisfaction, and audit compliance.
