Vision Application Engineer

At SwitchOn, our cutting-edge systems capture images from complex manufacturing lines and runs DeepInspect to detect defects with over 99% accuracy. We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Vision Application Engineer to drive the deployment of our AI-powered quality inspection systems at customer sites. In this role, you will bridge the gap between DeepInspect and real-world manufacturing environments—ensuring successful implementation, tuning, and validation of systems that deliver world-class defect detection performance.

What will you be doing on a day-to-day basis?

1. Customer visits for inspection and deployment
2. Vision System commissioning and validation
3. Working collaboratively with automation vendors for system integration
4. Support and maintenance of the system if and when required
5. Traveling around 5-6 times a month can be expected, pan India and international

Requirements

1. Experience deploying machine vision-based quality inspection systems
2. Proficiency in PLC programming and electrical panel wiring
3. Familiarity with industrial sensors and automation systems
4. Skilled in using diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
5. Strong understanding of factory lines, SPMs, and automation workflows
6. Working knowledge machine vision software for inspection systems is a plus
