Our web engineering team is lean and we are now growing rapidly. We're looking for generalist software engineers to become a part of our dynamic environment and solve challenging problems.

What you'll do as a Frontend Engineer:

• Contribute to product & campaign projects with multiple stakeholders & engineers to deliver significant impact to our business.
• Design, build, test, deploy & maintain reliable web,mobile & desktop software across a diverse stack leveraging modern frameworks & tooling.
• Contribute to building Tagglabs' engineering culture as we grow.

Requirements

You will be a good fit if:

• You have at least 3 years of industry experience.
• You have played an instrumental role in building complex projects.
• You can create & refine micro interactions to improve user engagement and experience with optimized performance & accessibility.
• You have previous startup experience, or worked in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action.
• You like to wear many hats. Our web technology team is small, with a lot of things yet to be figured out. You are comfortable operating in such an environment.
• You are initiative-driven & comfortable with owning projects & being the driving force behind them.
• You are more outcome-oriented, rather than output-oriented.
• You are serious about security.
• You hold yourself & others to a high bar when building software & working with production. You swear by standards!
• Stellar user experience is highly regarded & valued by you.
• Working with ambiguity & outside of your comfort zone is something you enjoy & ace.
• You are curiosity-driven & don't shy away from learning new technologies where necessary.

Skills & Experience

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Typescript, Node.js, standards-compliant HTML/CSS, Linux.
• Strong understanding of modern reactive frameworks, RESTful APIs, HTTP and pertaining concepts.
• Ability to make purposeful choices while implementing solutions.
• Ability to implement creative & interactive web pages with advanced use of frontend technologies.
• Ability to translate business logic to software requirements with careful consideration of user experience.
• Proficiency in thoughtful crafting of user interfaces & experiences, with visually appealing animations and micro interactions.
