JOB DESCRIPTION:  IBU DD&T Digital Evidence & Value Demonstration Product Owner

LEVEL: Manager

REPORTING LINE:DD&T IBU Digital Access and Pricing Lead

ROLE OBJECTIVE

• Own the execution of digital and AI‑enabled products for literature review automation and value dossier automation, acting as Product Owner embedded within an India ICC delivery team.

• The role ensures scientific and evidence‑based requirements are translated into robust, compliant and usable automation capabilities that accelerate evidence generation and dossier development.

• Acts as the voice of the user within the delivery team, ensuring solutions are built right, built fast and built to be adopted.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Own and maintain the product backlog for literature review and value dossier automation components.

• Translate evidence workflows into clear user stories covering search, extraction, synthesis and dossier assembly.

• Work embedded within the India ICC delivery team, partnering closely with engineering, data, AI, UX and testing roles as well as external suppliers as needed.

• Ensure traceability, transparency and auditability requirements are reflected in delivery.

• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement and release reviews.

• Validate outputs with evidence and access SMEs to ensure scientific credibility.

• Feed lessons learned and adoption feedback into backlog evolution.

COMPETENCIES and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Delivery Lead on data‑ or document‑heavy digital products.

• Understanding of literature review, evidence synthesis or value dossier processes.

• Familiarity with AI/NLP‑based document automation is an advantage.

• Strong requirements definition and backlog management capability.

• Experience in agile delivery environments.

• Background in life sciences, healthcare or evidence‑related domains preferred.
