Field Service Engineer

Technical specialist and regular customer support contact to diagnose and complete less complex repairs to Cummins products at a single customer's site.

Responsibilities

Ensure Enhancement of technical skill and product awareness through Training to OEM network Dealer& TASS/Technicians/Drivers & Customers for all OEM's TML /ALL/DICV/ VECV. Engages customers in a courteous and professional manner. Monitor BSVI  product Launch readiness & ensure feed back is provided to backend teams. Coordinate with OEM Channel Partners for Service readiness Ensure Proactive engagement with OEM and Technical update on issues and resolution. Monitor Regular Product performance & performance feed back (Fuel , DEF , Oil consumption , Competition information). Proactive Fleet customer engagement : Customer Connect & Customer engagement, Customer Testimonials . Monitor and ensure co-ordination of all service activities of CCC and CTT-ASC dealerships in the area . Manage Product Trails & Product fix Campaigns in the field
Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
Coaches on preventative maintenance activities and basic repairs completed by customer employees
Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced On Site Technicians and/or  plant team
Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Completes training in line with skill and business requirements
Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues .

Qualifications

Diploma  in Mechanical Engineering
