Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and compile summaries on regulatory updates, case law, and compliance requirements relevant to financial services.
• Maintain accurate and secure legal records and databases, ensuring version control and audit readiness.
• Monitor and track compliance deadlines, regulatory filings, and internal legal requirements across business units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal risks are identified, documented, and mitigated proactively.
• Draft legal correspondence, memorandums, and internal reports with clarity and precision.
• Uphold the highest standards of legal ethics and confidentiality in all professional interactions.
• Support the onboarding and training of new legal staff or interns, contributing to knowledge transfer and team development.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized institution.
• Strong foundational knowledge of legal principles, legal drafting, and legal compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with financial services regulations, including but not limited to RBI guidelines, SEBI norms, and banking laws.
• Proficiency in legal administration, legal advisory processes, and legal consulting support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
• High level of attention to detail, organizational ability, and time management.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal database tools.
• Commitment to legal ethics, confidentiality, and integrity in all duties.
