We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator with a strong foundation in Oracle 12c to join our dynamic team at SBI NaviMumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Oracle 19C and 23C databases, ensuring high availability and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to database management and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Oracle 19C and 23C databases, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Utilize strong Oracle 12c knowledge to support legacy systems and facilitate smooth upgrades.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Perform regular database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices to recommend improvements.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Oracle 12c.
• Proficiency in Oracle 19C and 23C database administration.
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques.
• Understanding of database security practices and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud database services and migration strategies.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation.
• Certifications in Oracle Database Administration are a plus.

Qualifications:
