Engineer - Contracts

Contract Engineer is responsible for compiling of tenders and agreement document and execute the same through tender exercise, compiling of addendum/amendments along with maintaining records of company standard rates. Responsibilities include pre qualification & Selection of Contractor for different activities, tender exercise & Bid Comparative, drafting of work orders within time, negotiation of Contractors for work orders, deriving the Standard rates, rate analysis, addendums & Amendments of Contract Documents, Contractor Evaluation. Tasks & Activities involve exploring new contractors, visiting sites for evaluation, commercial evaluation, evaluating existing contractor work, pre qualification, floating of Tender Document, pre bid meeting assistance, preparation & evaluation of comparative statement, assisting in negotiation meetings, issuance of LOI and sign off, defining scope of work, getting quantities, arranging meetings, making a project wise record of rates, receiving requisition for changes, reviewing scope of work for changes, compiling agreement documents, intimating planning and estimation departments.
