Freelance Japanese to English Translator

We are looking for freelance Japanese to English translators to collaborate on localization projects for international clients across a variety of industries.

🎯 Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in English.
• Professional proficiency in Japanese.
• Proven experience translating Japanese into English.
• Experience in localization and translation workflows.
• Experience using CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, Trados Studio, Phrase, Smartcat, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality translations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy.
• Previous experience in one or more specialized fields (e.g., Gaming, Medical, Life Sciences, Legal, Marketing, IT, Technical, or Finance) is highly valued.

📍Additional Information

Once we receive your application, our Vendor Management team will review your profile and qualifications. Selected candidates may be invited to complete a language assessment and will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before accessing project materials.
