Sr. Engineer Manufacturing – KGJ, Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day manufacturing operations ensuring uninterrupted production across shifts
• Support process stabilization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, cycle time optimization, waste reduction)
• Monitor and improve production KPIs such as OEE, Scrap rate, and downtime
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, process controls, and customer requirements
• Maintain existing Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing) systems and identify risk areas to implement new solutions
• Understand and implement SMED to reduce mold changeover time
• Plan and implement Mold TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to improve equipment reliability
• Standardize parameter setup process to minimize variation and reduce mold change time
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and production teams for smooth operations
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and line balancing activities
• Lead implementation of standard work, SOPs, and process documentation
• Ensure compliance with EHS and company safety guidelines on shop floor
• Provide technical guidance to operators and junior engineers

Sr. Engineer Manufacturing, Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering / Automobile / Mechatronics
• Upto 8 years of experience in manufacturing/production engineering (automotive preferred)
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, and process improvement
• Hands-on experience with production line operations and maintenance coordination
• Good understanding of quality tools (8D, A3, SPC, root cause analysis)
• Ability to work in multi-shift operations and manage shop floor challenges
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and team coordination capability
