Student Intern

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

v  Support the IT Security Team in regard to IT Security initiatives and end user support activities

v  Identify areas for potential automation, specifically in the IAM (identity and access management), vulnerability remediation, missing controls and network security areas

v  Support, Track / trace and remind server and application owners to work on vulnerability, missing controls, risk assessments and other security related tickets

v  Develop and maintain IT Security documentations specifically in the IAM (identity and access management), vulnerability remediation, missing controls, and network security areas

v  Develop baseline configuration documentation with server and application owners

v  Identify areas for improvement in security processes

v  Support IT Security Projects specifically Network Security and Disaster Recovery

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

v  Knowledge on application security and access management

v  Ability to write scripts/code using Python, PHP, Javascript, Perl, PowerShell, or an equivalent language

v  Practical knowledge of cloud environments like Azure, operating system/database operation tools and administration a plus

v  Knowledge of networking, packet flow, TCP/UDP traffic, and firewalls

v  Familiar with ServiceNow and JotForm a plus

v  Security tool (Tenable, Microsoft Defender) experience a plus

Masters in in Computer Science , Cyber Security or equivalent
