The Antara Foundation (TAF) envisions a world where women and children do not suffer from preventable health conditions. We support the public health system deliver solutions at scale, to improve maternal and child health outcomes, by partnering with government and communities. Interventions of The Antara Foundation follow two closely integrated paths: to help the government system deliver better quality health care to the community and to support the community to mobilize and seek better health outcomes.For more information visit The Antara Foundation | Leading Indian NGO | Non Profits in India for maternal and child healthWe are a young, energetic, and passionate team, working across 8 districts, 38 blocks, 5,700 villages, with 8,800 FLWs, and reaching 379,000 women and 650,000 children in central India. Over the next few years, we see ourselves spreading across multiple locations in India to implement our solutions and to create an impact at scale.The fellowship at TAF is a grassroots experiential learning program designed for budding entrepreneurs or those looking for career enhancement, higher education, refining professional skills and competencies or just exploring the public health or development landscape. The fellowship provides an invaluable experience of working in the field and closely interacting with the community and government officials.Reporting to: District Lead / Sr. Program OfficerDuty Station: One of our intervention districts in Madhya Pradesh (Currently we are operational ineight districts- Chhindwara, Seoni, Betul, Barwani, Khargone, Damoh, Morena)Duration: 12 months ( potential to become program officer earlier)Fellowship Stipend: 7 Lakhs per annum (Rs. 60,000 of this amount is paid on completion of fellowship)Responsibilities:•Plan and implement our interventions end-to-end; Support monitoring of our program.•Emerge as the CEO of your geographical area, with mentorship and apprenticeship from other POs and managers.•Continuously ideate and analyze data to improve program delivery and introduce new initiatives•Maintain strong relationships and work closely with village/block/district government officials to ensure quality delivery and sustainability of the program.•Develop trust and bonds with frontline workers and the community to ensure quality delivery and sustainability of the program.•Contribute to overall organizational needs and vision outside the field (e.g., Donor development, monitoring & evaluation, among others) and collaborate with team members from different locations/ departments.

An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline. Masters in Social Work(MSW) / Masters in Public Health (MPH)/Masters in Development Studies/MBA in Rural Development would be preferable. Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi. Ability to analyze reports, plan and monitor project plans. Someone who is passionate, bubbling with ideas and has the willingness to learn.
