Executive - Face to Face Fundraising

Job Description

Purpose:
To raise funds by meeting more and more prospects at high walk-in areas like office complexes, Malls, RWA, SMEs, Trusts, Feet on Street selling, corporate kiosk events.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Responsible for achieving the fund raising target creating leads & conversions by meeting prospects face 2 face - with special focus on closing deals / donations and achieving set targets as per the objectives of the organization.
Identify opportunities by generating references for committed giving through individuals. The incumbent should have the flair for approaching & striking up a random conversation with a stranger on the street.

 

Join APD India as a Fundraiser and you will work in a group and not individually. Required training will be provided for you to talk about Disability sector. We are now hiring people who will work in a group of 4- 5 along with you

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:
12th class or Graduate / Diploma in a field with relevance to the position.

Experience:
0-2 years of experience in the relevant field with proven track record.

Languages:
Excellent communication skills (English and Kannada, Hindi). Proficiency in 1-2 regional languages will be an advantage. Must have significant and proven writing, presentation skills & operational skills like MS Excel, PP etc.

Competencies:

1. Should be a result oriented Feet on Street person.
2. Should have good communication skills and should be a pleasing personality to come across.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience in FR across NGOs
4. Willingness to travel locally.
5. Should be high on delivery capability w.r.t to targets.
6. Assertive in nature, strong convincing and negotiation skills.
7. Reporting in Office mandatory in the mornings on the decided days.
8. Should be willing to work in weekends, if needed.
9. Well organized and strong in follow ups.
