About the Project
The APPEAL App is a child development and caregiver-support initiative for children aged 0–8 years and their families. The project focuses on early intervention, developmental guidance, rehabilitation, caregiver education, and home-based support. Through accessible and evidence-based content, the app aims to empower families to support children's development, participation, and overall well-being.
Role Summary
We are seeking motivated physiotherapy professionals to contribute to the development of caregiver-friendly content related to child development, physical rehabilitation, and early intervention. The role involves translating professional knowledge into practical resources that can be easily understood and implemented by caregivers in home and community settings.
The position is open to both fresh graduates seeking experience in pediatric rehabilitation and experienced physiotherapists interested in part-time consultancy or subject matter expert roles.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
• Develop physiotherapy-based content for children aged 0–8 years.
• Design home-based activities focusing on gross motor development, posture, balance, mobility, coordination, and functional independence.
• Create milestone-based developmental guidance and caregiver education materials.
• Support the development of videos, illustrations, activity sheets, demonstrations, and digital learning resources.
• Ensure content is practical, evidence-based, and easy for caregivers to understand and implement.
Developmental Planning and Collaboration
• Contribute to the development of age-wise developmental activity frameworks and early stimulation programs.
• Work closely with occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, pediatricians, special educators, and other rehabilitation professionals.
• Coordinate with technical and creative teams to adapt content for digital delivery within the app.
Quality Assurance and Documentation
• Participate in content review meetings, pilot testing, and revision processes.
• Maintain documentation of developed content and assigned deliverables.
• Ensure content is evidence-based, culturally appropriate, inclusive, and aligned with project objectives.
Qualifications
• Master's Degree (MPT) in Physiotherapy.
• Specialization in Pediatrics, Neurology, Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR), or related fields is preferred.
• Freshers with an interest in child development and rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.
• Experienced physiotherapists may apply as part-time consultants or subject matter experts.
• Good communication and educational writing skills in English; knowledge of Kannada is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Skills and Competencies
• Understanding of pediatric physiotherapy and developmental approaches.
• Ability to create practical and caregiver-friendly intervention activities.
• Strong communication, documentation, and content development skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI-assisted productivity tools.
Working Arrangements
Full-Time Position
• Onsite – Bengaluru
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Part-Time Consultant Position
• Flexible working hours based on agreed deliverables and timelines.
• Hybrid or remote engagement may be considered.
