Description
- Recruitment and Onboarding: HR professionals are responsible for finding, hiring, and integrating new employees into the company. This includes developing recruitment strategies, managing job postings, conducting interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Employee Relations: HR manages the relationship between employees and the company, addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace conflicts. They also play a role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
- Compensation and Benefits: HR manages employee compensation and benefits, ensuring they are competitive and align with company goals. This includes managing payroll, administering benefits programs, and conducting market research to ensure equitable pay practices.
- Training and Development: HR identifies training needs and develops programs to support employee growth and development. They also facilitate continuous learning opportunities and professional development initiatives.
- Compliance: HR ensures the company complies with labour laws and regulations. They maintain updated employee records and handle HR-related documentation.
- Performance Management: HR designs and manages performance appraisal systems, providing guidance to managers on performance issues and improvement plans.
- HR Strategy: HR professionals contribute to the development of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives.
