Senior Officer - Raw Material & Module components procurement

Job Requirements

1.     Scope of the role:

Responsible for Raw Material& Module components procurement.

§ Procuring Direct & Indirect Raw Material & Module components from Indigenous and Imported sources.

§ Identifying new and alternate sources.

§ Ensuring all commercial transactions in line with IFC/ Sourcing SOP guidelines.

§ Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely availability of components.

§ Creating cost sheets for reference and preparation.

2.     Job Profile:

o  Vendor Management: Identifying potential suppliers, maintaining relationships, and ensure the on-time delivery.

o  Cost Analysis: Evaluating supplier quotations, comparing prices, quality, and delivery timelines to make decisions.

o  Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring procurement activities comply with legal and IFC regulations, maintaining records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.

o  Communication: Collaborating with stakeholders, and suppliers to understand requirements ensure smooth procurement operations.

o  Supplier Performance Evaluation: Monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring quality, delivery, and service level expectations.

3.     Key Deliverables:

Ø Timely Procurement of Raw material & Module components and services required by various departments within Movement plant.

Ø Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality products.

Ø Collaborating with Movement manufacturing plant and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and providing timely support.

4.     The right person:

   Graduate/ Diploma in Mechanical |Electrical Engg

   Good communication skills

   Flair for numbers and result orientation

   Experience in QC / Mfg/ Planning functions is preferable.
