Teachers today work 50+ hours a week. Too much of that time is spent navigating fragmented systems and administrative overhead. Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to save teachers 10+ hours every week while helping elevate their practices, so that time can go back to what matters most - teaching, learning, and meaningful time with students.

First, Toddle brings the entire teaching and learning lifecycle into one place. Teachers plan and map curriculum, create assessments and gradebooks, maintain student portfolios, communicate with families, and generate progress reports and transcripts - all from a single, coherent system. Toddle also supports adjacent workflows where teachers are closely involved, including attendance, timetables, calendars, accreditation, behaviour management, analytics, and insights.

Second, every layer of the platform is deeply AI-powered. Educators work with a thoughtful AI partner to plan curriculum, create lessons and assessments, assist with grading, write progress report comments, and derive insights from data. Toddle also offers student-facing AI Tutors, enabling highly personalized and immersive learning experiences.

Third, Toddle integrates seamlessly with the broader school technology ecosystem. The platform supports 50+ integrations across SIS platforms, content providers, data & integration platforms, and workspaces such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft.

Here's what you'll be doing

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our product across releases. You will work closely with Engineers, SDETs, and Technical Leads to validate new features, identify risks early, and ensure that critical workflows are thoroughly tested before reaching customers. Your work will directly impact release confidence and customer trust in a SaaS environment.

What you'll achieve in your first 3 months

Build a

basic understanding of your assigned module

, its workflows, and QA processes

Start writing test cases for new features and performing test runs for ongoing development with support from your buddy

Participate in weekly sanity test runs before releases with guidance from your buddy to ensure bug-free releases

Collaborate with engineers to report issues clearly and perform re-testing after fixes

What you'll achieve in your first 6 months

Independently perform

end-to-end testing

of new features in a timely manner

Conduct

weekly sanity testing

Maintain and update test cases for your assigned module

Start performing

cross-module testing

Take

end-to-end ownership of quality and stability

Develop a deep understanding of the module, its dependencies, and impact on other areas of the product

Actively participate in retrospectives, product discussions, and initiatives focused on improving customer satisfaction

Required Skills:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good understanding of testing

web applications, mobile apps, and APIs

Solid knowledge of manual testing concepts such as

Functional, System, Integration, and Regression testing

Strong product mindset with empathy for end users

Clear communication skills with professional written and verbal articulation

Ability to use tools like

ChatGPT

effectively in day-to-day work to improve productivity and quality

Good to have

Experience with

automation testing using Playwright

Exposure to

performance and security testing

Familiarity with basic debugging techniques, extracting logs, and running SQL queries

Prior experience working in a

SaaS or product-based company
