What You Will Be Doing:

Transperfect.com is seeking a Manual Test Engineer with Automation Exposure to manage and own the manual and automation testing for CMS & e-commerce systems.

We are looking for forward-thinking professionals who are more interested in how things could become and who can thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases
• Perform functional, regression and integration testing
• Execute test cases, analyse results, and log defects with proper documentation
• Track and manage defects through closure using tools like Jira or similar
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams
• Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery
• Work with REST APIs and Postman for API validation and testing
• Assist in the execution and basic maintenance of automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright

Job requirements

Who We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience creating detailed test plans and contributing to the overall test strategy for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as JIRA or similar
• Basic understanding of MongoDB for data validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Big plus if you have:

• Exposure to or working knowledge of test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Cypress for API automation testing
• Familiarity with Playwright for UI automation testing
• Understanding of automation concepts such as selectors, locators, and test scripting
• Ability to assist or transition into automation testing as needed
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of integrating automated UI and API test suites into Bitbucket Pipelines using YAML for continuous integration and execution

Experience Required:3 to 5 years of QA experience with exposure to Cypress and Playwright automation tools
