Full Stack - Node & Angular/React (DU 001)

This position is for a Senior Software Engineer (5+ years of experience) responsible for developing and deploying Node.js backend applications in a long-term software project for a US client. The job location is Trivandrum, India. He/She will work closely with the existing project team on both technical and management aspects. The role involves requirement elicitation, software architecture design, implementation, code reviews, and supporting deployments in a cloud environment. The candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of assigned tasks end-to-end, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and demonstrating strong self-initiative, decision-making, and self-direction while working with minimal supervision and a strong "go-getter" attitude.

5+ years of overall software development experience, with strong expertise in Node.js backend development. Proven experience in designing and developing Web APIs / RESTful services. Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases like MongoDB. Experience with code quality practices, unit testing, and automated testing frameworks. Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Healthcare API, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Firestore, Cloud SQL, Workflows, and Cloud Storage is a plus. Experience in deploying, scaling, monitoring, and maintaining applications in GCP. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. Strong understanding of SDLC, version control, and traceability. Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments. Hands-on experience with development tools for designing, coding, debugging, testing, bug tracking, collaboration, and source control. Knowledge of the Healthcare domain and protocols such as DICOM and HL7 will be an added advantage.
