Role Overview: We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our core founding team. You will be working directly with the founders and the rest of the founding team.

At Truva, you get to build the world's best online home buying experience and will solve core fundamental problems starting from discovery to visits to transaction closing.

Home buying experience is a fundamental problem that has existed for decades and this role would require the candidate to ignore the status quo and work with founders to solve it like a customer experience problem rather than a real estate problem.

What you'll do:

1. Work directly with the CTO and other founders to redefine the online home buying experience. Essentially build a spinny for homes.

2. Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js (React) on the frontend and Node.js (Express/Nest) on the backend

3. Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate wireframes and business requirements into well-architected features

4. Write clean, scalable, and testable code

5. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance

6. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services

7. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups

8. Stay updated with the latest best practices in JS frameworks and backend tech

We're looking for someone with:

●  3+ years of software engineering experience in product companies

●  Past experience with node.js and next.js is a good to have

●  Strong interpersonal skills and who can work directly with product  managers, designers, and other business leaders

●  Balanced mindset when it comes to building new systems vs using 3P systems

●  Not looking at any particular tech stack as long as the candidate has worked with any new age technology like nodejs,nextjs, java, python, react, Angularjs
