Inclusive Education Consultant - Inclusive Schools Program

Ummeed is seeking to hire an Inclusive Education Consultant, who will be trained, mentored and guided by experts from Ummeed, and placed in low-income schools to create equitable learning environments for all students. This is a full-time paid role. Primary responsibilities will include: Supporting the implementation of inclusive practices that support diverse learners. Training and capacity building of teachers and other school staff. Screening of children through recognized tools identify those at risk of developmental disabilities. Collaborating with relevant teams to identify steps to support children identified. Organizing workshops and discussions for families to build awareness and support for inclusive education. Documenting child-specific case discussions, screening outcomes and support provided. Developing individual work plans and documenting overall project progress (daily logs, monthly reports, etc.) highlighting key achievements, challenges, and learnings. Supporting with creating spaces, processes and identifying individuals from schools to lead and take the work on inclusion forward. Supporting monitoring and evaluation needs through data collection from schools.

Master's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of experience of working in schools. Basic MS Office skills. Adept at working in teams. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Experience of stakeholder collaboration/ management is a plus.
