Key Responsibilities

• Instruction and Planning:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum for grades IX to XII.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lectures on history, geography, political science, and economics.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods, including project-based learning, to enhance conceptual understanding.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Design formative and summative assessments in line with CBSE guidelines.
  • Analyze student performance and provide constructive feedback to foster academic improvement.
• Classroom Management:
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Address student needs and maintain discipline to ensure effective learning.
• Professional Development:
  • Stay updated on CBSE curriculum changes and pedagogical practices.
  • Participate in workshops, training, and staff meetings to enhance professional skills.
• Parental Engagement:
  • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and achievements.
  • Address concerns and collaborate to support student development.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, or related fields.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Social Studies under the CBSE curriculum at the high school level.
• Proven track record of successful classroom teaching and student engagement.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make topics relatable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in technology and educational tools for teaching and assessments.
