Description

  1. Financial Consolidation:
    o Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of financial statements for all business units, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
    o Oversee intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and adjustments in line with corporate policies.
    o Collaborate with regional or local finance teams to collect, review, and validate financial data for accurate and timely consolidation.
  2. Management Information Systems (MIS) Reporting:
    o Develop, maintain, and enhance MIS reports, dashboards, and KPIs that provide meaningful insights into business performance.
    o Present periodic MIS reports to senior management, highlighting key financial and operational metrics, variance analyses, and actionable recommendations.
    o Continuously evaluate reporting tools and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall quality of MIS outputs.
  3. Month-End and Year-End Close:
    o Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes related to consolidation and reporting activities.
    o Review consolidated financial results, ensure reconciliations are performed, and address any discrepancies or variances promptly.
    o Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit requests regarding consolidation and financial reporting.
  4. Internal Controls and Compliance:
    o Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the integrity of consolidated financial data and MIS reporting.
    o Ensure adherence to corporate policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
    o Support compliance with statutory reporting requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
  5. Financial Analysis and Business Support:
    o Provide in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
    o Work closely with the FP&A and operational teams to integrate consolidated data into forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
    o Collaborate with senior leadership to support business decisions through data-driven insights.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:
    o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals responsible for consolidation and MIS reporting.
    o Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and identify training needs to build a high-performing team.
    o Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  7. Process Improvement and Automation:
    o Identify opportunities to streamline consolidation and MIS reporting processes through automation and improved workflows.
    o Implement best practices, standardized procedures, and digital tools to enhance the efficiency and reliability of financial reporting.
    o Champion change management initiatives and ensure smooth adoption of new systems or processes.
