Function: Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC)

Location: Mumbai

Designation: Manager - Managed services

Role & Responsibilities

Uniqus is seeking professionals for our MBS function within our ARC team. As a Manager, you will work with clients to provide high-quality book keeping, finance operations and transformation services. You will be responsible to maintain client relationships with senior stakeholders, work with Partner & Directors as well as mentor the team members apart from providing support on our business development and practice management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

· Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal development.
· Manage client relationships and act as a point of contact for clients.
· Project management of fully outsourced functions in accounting and finance.
· Manage MBS projects catering to clients within the bookkeeping and finance operations domain (CFO services, P2P, O2C, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Financial Planning and Analysis, GL accounting and period end closure as well as Audit support)
· US GAAP, IFRS and INDAS knowledge will be an added advantage.
· Supervise and mentor team members.
· Stay up to date on developments in accounting standards and regulations.
· Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines,
· Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
·  Apply independent and objective professional judgment in applying accounting standards to meet engagement expectations, including regulatory requirements.

Requirements

We're looking for accounting professionals who are passionate about providing Managed Business Services to clients which includes setting up teams and executing the finance operations (P2P, O2C, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Financial Planning and Analysis, GL accounting and period end closure as well as audit support) on a completely outsourced model.

· Strong domain, project management, business development and people skills.
· Demonstrate a sound understanding of finance operations and accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards; and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
· Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
· Possess strong domain knowledge.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.
· Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, work ethic and lead by example.

Qualification

· Qualified CAs
· Experience of accounting/financial reporting 3-5 years.
·  5 to 7 years of relevant experience
