Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Production & Strategy

  • Conceptualize and storyboard original content pillars (Educational, Hero, and Engagement-driven).

  • Develop scripts and creative briefs that align with brand guidelines.

  • Coordinate logistics, including location scouting and host/influencer management.

2. Production (The "Shoot")

  • Act as the lead videographer for studio and on-location shoots.

  • Proficiency in operating DSLRs/Mirrorless cameras (Sony A7 series, Canon R series) and mobile cinematography.

  • Manage lighting setups and high-quality audio recording and mics.

  • Direct on-camera talent or internal stakeholders to ensure authentic performances.

3. Post-Production (The "Edit")

  • Execute high-quality edits using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

  • Create motion graphics and text overlays using After Effects or Canva.

  • Optimize content for various formats (9:16 for Reels/Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube/Web).

  • Handle color grading, sound design, and trend-specific music selection.

4. Optimization & Analysis

  • Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes (specifically Instagram and TikTok).

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze performance metrics (Reach, Dwell Time, Saves) and iterate on content.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years in digital video production or a similar creative role.

  • Technical Kit: Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).

  • Gear Savvy: Comfortable with lighting (3-point setups), gimbal operation (DJI/Zhiyun), and audio gear.

  • Platform Native: A deep understanding of what makes content go viral or gain high engagement on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Portfolio: A strong showreel demonstrating a mix of polished brand work and fast-paced social content.

Communication skills

  • Speed & Agility: Ability to turn around "reactive" content within 24–48 hours.

  • Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues on set or in the edit suite.

  • Communication: Capable of presenting creative ideas to leadership and taking constructive feedback.
