We are looking for a Data and Reporting Analyst who will provide support in building reports, dashboards using Power BI to improve the business decisions for a subsidiary of fortune 200 Health Insurance Company. Provide hands-on support for 'ad-hoc' and scheduled requests for various KPIs working with business stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities

• Work with executives and other business users to identify opportunities for improvement

• Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients

• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data

• Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data

• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions

• Structure large data sets to find usable information

• Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information

• Work with data architects and engineers to build data models and governance.

Requirements

Data Analyst skills and qualifications

• A bachelor's or Master's degree in a field such as business analysis, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, industrial engineering or computer science.

• 1-5 years of Coding skills in SQL and working with relational or analytical databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, Redshift, Snowflake

• 1-5 years of Reporting and data visualization skills using tool such as Power BI, Tableau

• Hands-on in DAX scripts

• Experience working with healthcare data preferred but not required

• Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques

• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques

• Experience with advanced analytics using Python/R preferred but not required

• Ability to QA and troubleshoot data
