Job Description

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our founding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full stack development of our SaaS application, which is designed to accelerate the workflow of patent lawyers. This role requires experience with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Compensation

Above market, will exceed current / last salary.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend logic with Ruby on Rails. Experience with Hotwire is a plus, but not required.
• Develop front interfaces with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with React is a plus.
• Develop new features and make significant contributions to an early product.
• Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with full stack development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails.

Location

This position is available to candidates based in India and Central/South America.

Experience Level

Candidates should have 3 or more years of experience with full stack development.

Who You'll Work With

Bryant Lee (CEO): Bryant has been a patent lawyer for 10 years, having graduated from Harvard Law School and worked at one of the most prestigious U.S. law firms. He has co-founded 3 YC-backed companies. He was a computer science Ph.D. candidate at Carnegie Mellon University working with Prof. Luis von Ahn, founder of Duolingo.

Earl Hathaway (CTO): Earl previously co-founded DataGrail, a series C legal tech company that has raised over $80M USD. He has twenty years of technical experience.
