QC/QA Engineer

Job Description

1. Preparation / review of Quality assurance plan, FQP/QAP & method statements.

2. Ensuring all the test as per QAP.

3. Familiar about IS codes, BOQ, project specification etc.

4. Ensuring periodic training to staff / manpower etc.

5. Coordination with client / consultant for mock up.

6. Monitoring & Inspecting Quality of Construction works.

7. Issuance of Quality observation report / NCR for deviations observed and tracking for closure.

8. Conducting fortnightly Quality meeting with client / Contractor.

9. Review of Test reports (MTCs & Third-party test reports) of incoming materials.

10. Preparing Calibration Plan of equipments and ensuring calibration before due date.

11. Submitting Quality reports (Weekly / monthly) / documents to client.

12. Ensuring all the Data sheets of construction chemicals used at site.

13. Responsible for all Quality records Storing, Retrieving etc.

14. Preparing Quality case study (if applicable).

15. Maintaining approved make list / supplier list of materials.

16. Issuing punch list / snag list to contractors and tracking for closure.

17. Handing over all site Quality records to client.

18. Willingness to relocate to construction site locations is expected.

19. Ability to identify and report subcontractors and their performance.

20. Identifying Root cause analysis for all deviations/ observations and proposing correction action & proposing preventive action.

21. Maintaining lab tests and field records

22. Conducting audits to contractors etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. B.E/ B.Tech Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

2. Must have delivered at least one residential/commercial/ mixed use project from starting to completion in QA/QC role at Project location.

Note: Working location would be Mumbai/Kochi/Kolkata/Visakhapatnam only and candidates who are willing to join with short notice will be highly preferred.
