Description
Vecmocon is looking for an Application Engineer to support our Battery Swapping projects. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting customer issues, validating system performance, and ensuring smooth charger–battery–BMS–IoT integration in battery swapping deployments. Key Responsibilities: System Understanding & Integration· Develop a deep understanding of charger, battery, BMS, IoT gateway, and backend interactions in a swap station ecosystem· Analyze and debug communication protocols (CAN, UART, MQTT, etc.) between Charger ↔ BMS ↔ IoT ↔ Cloud· Support integration of new hardware revisions, firmware updates, and feature rolloutsCustomer Support & Issue Resolution· Act as a technical point of contact for customers during deployment and post-deployment· Diagnose field issues related to charging failures, battery authentication, BMS faults, communication drops, swap flow interruptions etc.· Provide root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate with internal firmware, hardware, and backend teams for resolution· Address customer queries clearly and professionally, including technical explanations and workaround guidanceTesting & Validation· Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of swap stations during non-customer-facing time· Validate charging behavior, safety interlocks, communication robustness, error handling and fault recovery· Assist in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and validation checklists· Support pilot runs, field trials, and customer acceptance testing (FAT/SAT)Documentation & Feedback· Document known issues, field learnings, and test results· Provide structured feedback to R&D teams to improve product reliability, user experience, deployment readiness· Help improve installation guides, troubleshooting manuals, and SOPs
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor of Technology - EE/ EC/ IC/ Mechanical
