Charger Inspection Executive

The Charger Inspection Executive is responsible for on-site inspection, verification, and reporting of charger units returned from client locations. This role involves daily travel from the assigned service centre to various warehouses, performing visual checks, basic diagnostics, functional testing, categorizing the type of failure, and updating inspection records in prescribed formats. The role is critical in ensuring accurate warranty validation, repair routing, and inventory control. Key Responsibilities include: A. Inspection & DiagnosticsConduct visual inspection of returned chargers for:Physical damage (burn marks, cracks, bent pins, broken casing)Missing parts, tampering, or signs of misuseEnvironmental or liquid ingressPerform functional tests, including:Power-on testingOutput voltage/current checks (using multimeter or test jig)Cable/connector integrity checkLED indicators and thermal conditionClassify each unit as:Functional / No Failure Found (NFF)Minor FailureMajor FailureOut-of-Warranty (physical/abuse)Not Repairable / BERB. Documentation & ReportingFill inspection reports on mobile app / Excel / internal ERP.Capture images of damaged units and record observations clearly.Update status tags and handover reports to warehouse teams.Maintain proper logs of units inspected daily.C. Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate with warehouse in-charge for daily inflow of chargers.Provide accurate inspection summaries to the Service Centre Manager.Highlight repetitive issues/trends observed in returned chargers.Work closely with repair, QC, and logistics teams for next processes.D. Compliance & HandlingEnsure chargers are handled safely and stored properly after inspection.Follow ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protocols when applicable.Maintain confidentiality of client and internal data.E. Travel & Field WorkTravel daily from service center to multiple warehouse locations.Ensure punctual attendance, route planning, and completion of assigned daily targets.

ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics preferred. Experience: 0–2years in field service, product inspection, QC, or repair roles. Freshers with technical training may also apply. Two-wheeler (preferred) and willingness to travel daily.
