Mechanical Engineer

You will be working on mechanical CAD design, simulations of products which go into electric vehicles. You will be coordinating with electrical H/W engineers to integrate PCBs and wiring. Key responsibilities: Perform CAD modeling and iteration of product designs. Perform FEA simulations to optimize mechanical and thermal performance of products. Apply fundamental mechanical engineering principles along with testing data to improve designs. Fabrication of prototypes for design validation and testing. Creation of engineering drawings to be shared with vendors. Maintaining design and production documentation according to industry norms.

Good understanding of basic physics and mechanical engineering concepts. Knowledge and hands-on experience on CAD tools. Understanding of basic GD&T. Knowledge and hands on experience of FEA tools like ansys. Sound knowledge and practical experience of mechanical fabrication processes. Understanding of product design lifecycle, including FMEA and DFM
