Software Development Engineer

The frontend software engineer (with 1+ years of professional experience) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user-facing applications for web and desktop platforms using React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Electron.js. The role involves translating product requirements into performant, scalable, and maintainable UI components, ensuring excellent user experience and robust application behavior. The engineer will collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams to deliver high-quality features, debug complex issues, and contribute to overall architecture decisions.

Strong understanding of core JavaScript (ES6+) and the fundamentals of modern frontend development. Hands-on experience with React.js, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux or similar). Proficiency in TypeScript and ability to design strongly-typed, scalable component interfaces. Working knowledge of Electron.js for building cross-platform desktop applications. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and styling solutions (CSS Modules, SASS, Tailwind, or styled-components). Good problem-solving skills, data structures and algorithms knowledge, and ability to reason about performance and complexity. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and common patterns for client-server communication. Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews). Good understanding of build tools, package managers, and bundlers (npm/yarn, Webpack, etc.)
