Description
- Provide expert-level technical solutions and retrofit strategies across diverse inverter technologies to enhance fleet performance
- Lead complex troubleshooting and technical escalations to minimise downtime and improve asset availability
- Drive transition strategy from OEM-supported O&M to in-house capability post-warranty for long-term sustainability
- Establish competency frameworks, tools, and processes for scalable self-O&M operations
- Manage end-to-end coordination with inverter OEMs and lead technical engagements for issue resolution and reliability improvement
- Act as regional SME and technical authority for all inverter-related matters across solar assets
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) of major inverter failures and define corrective and preventive actions (CA/PA)
- Improve inverter reliability and MTBF through structured engineering interventions and continuous tracking
- Develop cost-effective spare parts strategy, including equivalent component database to avoid stock-outs
- Evaluate alternate suppliers and technologies to optimise lifecycle cost and ensure component availability
- Drive digital integration of inverter data with SCADA/IT systems and enable advanced monitoring capabilities
- Develop performance dashboards, analytics tools, and predictive diagnostics for early fault detection
- Standardise SOPs, troubleshooting manuals, maintenance practices, and audit frameworks across the region
- Build and maintain centralised database of inverter performance, failures, and maintenance records
- Train and upskill regional teams to operate independently, reducing OEM dependency and strengthening internal capability
- Lead technology evaluation, pilot projects, and roadmap development to future-proof inverter performance and investments
