Accountant

Volttap is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and experience with accounting software.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update all financial records and ledgersManage accounts payable and receivablePrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsHandle GST, TDS, and other tax filings in compliance with Indian regulationsAssist with budgeting and financial forecastingMonitor cash flow and bank reconciliationsCoordinate with external auditors for yearly auditsMaintain payroll records and employee reimbursementsEnsure compliance with company policies and internal controlsGenerate invoices and track customer paymentsAssist in cost analysis, pricing strategy, and profitability reports

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com)Proven work experience as an Accountant (Minimum 2 years preferred)Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting softwareStrong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax rulesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and meet deadlines
