| Primary Skills (Mandatory) | • Support a VP and team of mutual fund product development managers. o Perform research and analysis related to mutual funds and other financial products o Learn and develop complex financial analysis skills related to mutual funds and Voya Investment Management's business. o Assist in developing Fund Board proposal materials and internal presentations and proposal materials. o Manage smaller scale mutual fund projects and routine, repeatable projects. • Support department's processes for decision making and project management by preparing meeting materials, agendas and minutes for meetings as assigned. o Responsible for the creation and accuracy of the weekly Voya IM Fund Strategy Meeting materials; contribute to preparation and accuracy of other meeting materials integral to the fund decision process o Participate in the fund decision process as directed and other Voya Investment Management decision making processes. • Learn and develop product and project management skills. • Active contributor to annual fund contract renewal process. Participate in building complex spreadsheet analysis, conducting research, and assisting in preparing written materials at the direction of department leadership. |
| Secondary Skills (Preferred) | • Complete and circulate spec sheets on routine projects at direction of senior manager. All circulated spec sheets must have accurate and verified data. • Demonstrate ability to communicate easily and thoroughly. Proactively ask questions, raise issues, and reach outside of department to gather information. Build positive working relationships. • Maintain ongoing tracking of departmental financial contribution to Voya and fund shareholders. • Develop ability to recognize potential issues within projects. • Assist in the growth of SharePoint in department processes by designing and customizing SharePoint solutions. • Display intense focus on meeting deadlines. • Demonstrate ability to identify potential risk items and bring them to senior manager's attention. • Accept special projects as assigned. |

| Role Summary | The Voya Investment Management (Voya IM) Mutual Fund Product Development department develops, coordinates, and implements the Voya IM Mutual Fund Platform business initiatives which include, among others: new funds, fund mergers, fund liquidations and changes to existing funds. The group partners with the Voya Financial business units and the Voya IM product development area to design, develop, coordinate and implement mutual fund products that meet stakeholder and customer needs. |
| Key Roles & Responsibilities | • 1-2 years professional experience preferred • College degree (Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred) • Experience in financial services or mutual fund industry strongly preferred • Strong, demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization • Ability to develop critical thinking and analytical skills to find solutions to project challenges • Ability to work accurately and independently as well as function in a team environment • Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills • Strong PC skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word • Strong SharePoint and Visio skills o Ability to develop SharePoint master pages and create new SharePoint web content • Must be available to work additional hours year round |
