Proposal Writer

As a Proposal Writer at vTech, you'll play a critical role in our business development efforts by creating high-quality proposals, responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other client-facing documents. You'll work closely with various teams, including technical experts, project managers, and executives, to develop winning content that showcases our capabilities, experience, and value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and format compelling proposals, proposals, and other documents in response to client requests (RFPs, RFIs, etc.).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, technical teams, and subject matter experts) to gather relevant information and ensure proposal accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
• Tailor content to highlight vTech's strengths, ensuring each proposal meets the unique needs of the client.
• Assist in developing technical and financial proposals, ensuring clarity and compliance with RFP guidelines.
• Manage proposal timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and content is delivered on time.
• Review and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards and branding.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for proposal writing.
• Participate in proposal strategy meetings and contribute ideas for differentiating vTech in the competitive landscape.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or IT field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Strong research and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other proposal management tools.
• Knowledge of government contracting processes (SLED, federal, state, or local) is a plus.
