Senior UI/UX Designer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Leadership & Strategy Lead Product Design: Proactively lead and facilitate product design sessions, workshops, and reviews with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Engineering, and Business Stakeholders). User Research & Data-Driven Design: Drive the creation of foundational user research artifacts, including User Personas, User Journey Mapping, and User Experience (UX) before-and-after mapping. Utilize analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) and usability testing data to inform and validate design decisions. Design Frameworks: Champion User-Centric Design principles throughout all Design Stages. Guideline Management: Create and maintain a Digital Playbook Guideline and ensure strict adherence to US Design Guidelines. Possess the ability to quickly learn and apply specific US state or Federal design guidelines as required by individual projects.
2. Design Execution, System, & Prototyping Visual Design: Develop high-quality Graphics and visually appealing interfaces that align with brand standards and usability best practices. Prototyping: Expertly create and refine design artifacts across all fidelity levels: Develop Low Fidelity sketches and wireframes to validate early concepts. Produce detailed Mock-ups and High Fidelity prototypes for engineering handoff and user testing. Design Systems: Possess experience in building, maintaining, or significantly contributing to a robust Design System using industry-standard tools like Figma. US Product Delivery: Demonstrate proven experience in designing and delivering successful digital products specifically for the US market.
3. Technical Integration & Accessibility Front End Awareness: Maintain a strong working understanding of Front End Development principles to ensure designs are technically feasible and optimized for implementation and efficient developer handoff. Accessible Design: Be an expert in creating fully Accessible Design solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508). Tool Proficiency: Possess hands-on experience utilizing AI Tools and dedicated Accessibility Tools to enhance design efficiency and compliance verification.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX Design, ideally focused on complex web and mobile applications. Expert proficiency in Figma (or equivalent). Strong skills in Mock-up and Prototype development (Low Fidelity and High Fidelity), Graphics creation. User-Centric Design, Data-Driven Design principles, User Persona creation, User Journey Mapping, UX Mapping. Deep understanding of US Design Guideline standards and the ability to adapt to US state/Federal design requirements.
