Technology Specialist

Position Overview

• We are seeking Technology Specialist Lead to serve as a hands–on technical expert and team
• mentor. This role is heavily focused on end–user support and service desk excellence, balanced with
• critical infrastructure administration duties. You will act as the primary escalation point for complex
• helpdesk technical issues while ensuring our core system specifically within Microsoft
• 365 and Azure ecosystems—are secure, stable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities****Technical Leadership & Team Support

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of IT specialists and Engineers, fostering a customer–focused
• culture.
• Manage helpdesk escalations for complex technical issues requiring advanced
• troubleshooting
• Oversee IT service desk operations to ensure timely resolution of incidents and adherence to service standards.
• Drive the adoption of ITIL concepts to streamline service delivery and incident management.

Systems & Operations Management

• Administer and manage the Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for identity and access management.
• Manage endpoint deployments and security policies using Microsoft Intune.
• Oversee SaaS Portal management for various third–party applications and services.
• Monitor system performance and availability across server, network, and cloud environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Security, Infrastructure & Compliance

• Maintain a basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, DNS, and TCP/IP) to troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues.
• Review technical changes, upgrades, and deployments to minimize system outages.
• Support audits and risk assessments by ensuring regular patching, backups, and policy compliance.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Lead or contribute to IT projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to align IT services with business needs.
• Assist in asset management and procurement for the IT department.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 4-5 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven Expertise in:
  • Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID.
  • Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
  • Fundamental Networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, VPN, TCP/IP).
  • IT Asset Management
• Leading and mentoring a technical team.
