Sr. Linux System Administrator

• Linux Server Administration and Management
• System Backups
• Server Security
• Installing and configuring server & application software
• Creating and maintaining user accounts
• Working on Virtualization Technologies
• Candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting of tickets, monitoring the server infrastructure and handling escalated tickets of low to medium complexity
• Deliverables will include ticket ownership, response, resolution and update and handle escalated tickets from various levels.
• Ensure adherence to customer SLAs across all levels
• Collaborate with fellow system administrators and support team members

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of Linux Server Environment
• Experience in web hosting industry preferred
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Ownership and follow-up skills
• Should be able to perform independently and in teams
