The Role

***As a Group functions, Risk with Worley,***you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

  • Work with programs / function stakeholders to integrate risk identification, assessment and treatment into plans, delivery and change activities.
  • Plan and conduct risk facilitation (risk workshops, reviews and discussions), applying risk frameworks, taxonomies and assessment criteria to ensure risks are identified, assessed, evaluated and documented in a clear, consistent and decision ready manner.
  • Support risk owners to maintain quality risk records including risk categorization, treatment design, timeframes, control effectiveness, and residual exposure, ensuring information is complete, and decision useful.
  • Monitor risk status and treatment progress, escalating emerging issues, material changes and overdue actions through agreed governance pathways.
  • Prepare risk reporting and insights (e.g., dashboards and reports) to highlight key risks, trends, interdependencies and recommendations that inform business decisions and meet governance obligations.
  • Work with Risk and business leaders to build Worley tailored risk e-learning to strengthen depth and breadth of risk capability at all levels and assist with rollout of content.
  • Collaborate with other risk practitioners and champions to share risk themes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of risk practices by identifying process/tool enhancements, refining templates and guidance, and capturing lessons learned to strengthen risk planning, assessments, and reporting.

KPIs

  • Timely integration of risk activities into program/function planning and delivery cycles (e.g., risk plans in place; assessments completed to schedule).
  • Quality of facilitated risk workshops/reviews evidenced by clear, consistent risk descriptions, ratings and treatment actions recorded in agreed tools/templates.
  • Completeness, accuracy and currency of risk and control records (e.g., required fields populated; treatments and due dates maintained; control effectiveness and residual exposure documented).
  • Timeliness and effectiveness of risk monitoring, escalation and governance reporting (e.g., overdue actions followed up; material changes escalated; dashboards/packs delivered to agreed cadence).
  • Contribution to continuous improvement of risk practices (e.g., implemented enhancements to templates/tools/processes; lessons learned captured and adopted; positive stakeholder feedback on usability).

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, commerce, engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of business processes and procedures
  • Experience in Risk Facilitation
  • Sound judgement and willingness to raise concerns
  • Proactive and improvement focused mindset
